Do I link our tickets now?

We received our package from Disney with our tickets. Should I link our tickets now? Or do I wait till we check in? Will our tickets be linked to our room key?

Oh ok thanks. I'm a Disneyland newbie and WDW vet so I thought it was the same as a package from WDW. So I will link them to app now thanks

FYI: Several people have reported that when they link their tickets prior to their trip, it will show that they expire in 14 days from the current date, but they also report that each day the expiration date moves one day forward until you actually use them. I just wanted to warn you in case you see that and are worried.
