Do I have to have a magic band to get into stormalong bay?

I lost my magic band first ride last time at DW. I am hesitant to buy another as they fall off so easily on my wrist. I was reading that I needed it to go to stomalong bay. Is this true. What is the process for using the pool. If I don't get a magic band is there something else that would work? I would rather not take my phone to the pool but a key card could work.

You do not need a MB. You can stop by the front desk and get a room key, that will get you access just fine.

Whatever you use to enter your room will work to enter the pool.

They will give you a card at the front desk.

My experience this past April was a CM would check to make sure you were a guest (I think it was a MB scan for me, don't remember - I imagine phone or key card would work just fine) and then attach a plastic one-time use wristband for the day to make re-entry easy.

Once you show that you’re eligible guest of yacht or beach, they give you a wristband so you don’t have to check in every time you leave pool deck and come back.
