We do not have park hopper tickets and as a family of 6 on a budget don't plan to add it. :scared: I have ADR for 1900 Park Fare on a date that is RED :confused3 (not recommended) by Mike TG. I've managed to have the rest of our dates green (recommended). Can I go to 430pm dinner reservations there without being at MK? How long would it take to get there, if I can, from other parks? THANKS M

1900 Park Fare is at the Grand Floridian (not in any park). Therefore, you can go there any day you wish. As the GF is on the monorail, it's a very simple matter to get there from Epcot, and really shouldn't take more than 30 minutes.

You can get there from any of the parks. Which park will you be in that day? From Epcot, you can take the Monorail to the Grand Floridian and from the Studios of Animal Kingdom you can take a bus. I would plan on about a half an hour, though it can take up to an hour to get around depending on how lucky you are! I can't remember if the buses are shared with Contemporary & Poly... it seems like they are, and they could stop at a waterpark too, but I'm not sure. I think the monorail resorts have very poor bus service, so you might want to add a little more time if you are taking the bus.

If you're driving, doesn't make any difference which park you're at, just drive to the Grand Floridian Hotel (which is where 1900 Park Fare is...the hotel is on Bay Lake, but it is not IN the Magic Kingdom.

If you're using Disney transport, and have flexibility on parks, it's probably easiest to be at MK. But if you want to avoid MK due to crowd size that day, your 2nd easiest would be Epcot.

If you're in Epcot for that morning/afternoon, you could leave Epcot via monorail...Note-the Epcot monorail does NOT go directly to hotels...you take the monorail from Epcot to the TTC...then you switch to the resort monorail at the TTC- that will take you from the TTC through the Polynesian, and the next stop is the Grand Floridian. After your meal, take the monorail back to the TTC and then bus to your resort (or monorail back to Epcot if you still have park time left on your schedule.)

1900 Park Fare is located at the Grand Floridian hotel which is outside of the Magic Kingdom.

The Grand Floridian is located on the monorail loop so if you are coming from Epcot you could take the monorail from Epcot to the Transportation and Ticket Center and then transfer to the hotel monorail and get off at the Grand Floridian stop. From Animal Kingdom or Hollywood Studios you could take a bus either to Magic Kingdom and then get on the hotel monorail or you could take a bus straight to the Grand Floridian.

I  TGM! Anyways, if I am reading correctly, you do not have to be at MK because 1900 Park Fare is located at the Grand Floridian Resort, not inside any of the parks. Here is a link to give you an idea of time from resort to park, park to park etc & the transportation types you can use to get there: http://www.ourlaughingplace.com/asp/twiz.aspx

Thanks for the replies it's so nice to benefit from your experiences! M
