We are driving to WDW in August and staying 7 nights at the Swan, and buying 5 day passes. I thought we could use the other 2 days to explore and hang out by the hotel pool while DH plays all-day golf!

My aunt has free tickets that she offered to give me for SeaWorld and Busch Gardens. Should I accept the tickets? How far of a drive is it? Can I handle 3 kids (10, 7, 5) by myself in these places?

If I have to choose one place over the other, which do you think the kids would enjoy more - SeaWorld or Busch Gardens?

Or should I say "no, but thanks anyway - maybe next time." This is our first family trip to WDW and I'm afraid of cramming too much into our magical stay! (My aunt used to work for Anheiser Busch and can get these tickets anytime, so it's not like they are going to waste if I don't accept them.)

I do think it's possible to over do it. However, I think the kids would probably really like SeaWorld- which would be a 15-25 minute drive depending on traffic. Busch Gardens is closer to tampa and would a bit further. I'd consider at least maybe doing one of them. If they're free passes- then maybe even go for 1/2 a day.

I agree with Kilee. I think your children would really enjoy Sea World and it's more of a change of pace (and closer) than Bush Gardens would be. The fact that it's free makes it an added plus. Have a great time !

Seaworld and Busch Gardens are both great parks. younger kids are going to appreciate Seaworld more. they get to feed and pet dolphins. :) plus, it's closer to to WDW. BG is about an hour from the Epcot area of WDW, SW 15-20 minutes. better if you're dealing with the little ones.

We just did both and it depends on what you are looking for. Busch gardens had 7 roller coasters. There were height restrictions but if the kids are into coasters that's the place to be.

Sea Woel may be easier as it is a lot closer and is an awesome park so I would say definately go for it! Busch is an ace park but the drive is quite long and I never think the day seems long enough when you're there!

Seaworld is Awesome!! The kids will love it and you will too because it's much slower paced than Disney. Not alot of line standing because of the shows and exhibits. We are Gold passport holders for Busch/Seaworld and it's always on the top of our list of must-sees.

Have season passses for both and they are great. I think you will be pushing your kids pass the limit but that is just my opinion. Take the passes and mail back if you can not use them. The parks are worth going to.

We go to Sea World every year without fail as it's a nice easy day with plenty of things to see! We go to Busch probably every other year mainly due to the long drive.

We did both last month on my annual daddy daughter trip.Did i read that correct that you are going in Aug??????I hope your troups are comando ready as it will be hot as hatties and humid...Drink lots of water and sunscreen is the key words here....I live in the south and i am use to it but there is something about those parks ,crowds ,heat and humidity that will drain you like you have never been drained before. We love seaworld and bush gardens if you dont wish to drive to bush gardens there is a bus that will take you there for 10.0 a person round trip.Your children will love either park i think at least my girls do..23,19,8.
