Okay - we have 2 resale contracts at BLT. One has a Sept UY, the other has a March UY.

Here’s our current available points:

Sept 2019 - 4
Sept 2020 - 160
March 2020 - 4
March 2021 - 180

If I want to make a March 2020 reservation for BLT at the 11 month mark - I would be able to use both the Sept 2020 and the March 2021 points, correct?

Yes, but you will need to book whole nights from each contract and you will be borrowing points from each contract to make the reservation..

A March 2020 vacation falls in the 2019 use year for the September contract, so you will need to borrow the September 2020 points, but a March 2020 vacation falls in your 2020 use year for the March contract, so you will have to borrow the 2021 points.

It depends upon whether "September 2019 4" means "4 points to use by September 2019" or "4 points coming in September 2019".

If you are saying "use 4 points by September 2019", that means you have 4 points left over from the 2018 use year.

if you are saying "I'm getting 4 points in September 2019", that means you have already borrowed 156 from the 2019 use year.

A March 2020 reservation can be booked with:
September 2018 year points banked
September 2019 current year points
September 2020 year points borrowed
March 2019 year points banked
March 2020 current year points
March 2021 year points borrowed

You'd have to borrow Sept 2020 points to use them for a March 2020 reservation. If you need more than 188 or 164 points, you will probably need to make a reservation with Sept 2019 points and March 2020 points. You'd have to borrow Sept 2020 points into your Sept 2019 UY to use the Sept points. You'd have to borrow March 2021 points to use the March 2020 points. If you can get by with 188 points, transfer your Sept 2019 points (4 points) into your March 2019 UY (you have to match the year to transfer). Then bank those transferred points into March 2020 (4+4 points). Borrow 180 from March 2021 into March 2020. That gives you 188 in your March 2020 UY to make the reservation.

If you need 164 or less, borrow Sept 2020 into Sept 2019 to get you the points you need.

Remember that transferring and borrowing are final transactions. You cannot undo them. You can't borrow transferred points and you cannot transfer banked or borrowed points. You can bank transferred points.
