We have an upcoming extended family cruise coming. We booked two rooms with placeholders we (my husband and I) had booked. So we had to put hubby on the second room. Of course he'll be with us and this is just on paper.

so it's room 1, me, my brother and my kids. room 2 is my husband, brother's wife and brother's kid.

A couple of logistical questions:
1.In order for my husband (rm 2) to take our kids (room 1) off the ship, he'll need to fill out that special paperwork, right? (my brother would therefore also have to do the same for his kid in room 2)

2.if we have a photo package for MY stateroom, if my brother was in the photo with just himself and his family, it would theoretically show up in our photo package, since he's technically in room 1, right?

I believe, if you buy a photo package, you can get a second room for 50% off.

Also, I would contact Shutters about your situation, because they do allow a nuclear family in two rooms under one package, however, they might see your situation as working the system and say no. Anyway, it's worth an email.

1. Well, I believe it's you that needs to fill out the form for someone else (in a different room) to take the kids off the ship. And sister-in-law would fill out form for your brother to take his kid off.
