I will tell you my sotory about this - I had had back pain for a while, so that was nothing new. But it seemed to get worse and the pain was so bad and I started running a fever - a very HIGH fever - I had no idea how high it was until I went to the docotor. I wnet to the quick medical clinic to get something for my back pain - and I whatever was causing me to feel so bad. They took my temperature - looked at it in disbelief - and said there is no way that is right, let's take it again. I said okay, but what did it say - and she said almost 105!!
Took it again and yep, it was right, right around 104.9. They figured out it was a kidney infection, NOT just back pain. Gave me meds and sent me on my way. The next day my fever came back and I thought I was dying. I couldnt even drink a glass of water without throwing it up almost right away. I went to the ER and no joke, my BP was around 60/30 - they freaked and admitted me right away. All for this kidney infection. I was there two days.
Now I know I seem like I am rambling here, but if you arent sure, go to the doctor! It can be very serious and I thought it was just back pain to begin with.
