Do I come to Disney too often?

We had 900 DVC points and were going 4-5 times a year. After a few years of this we could feel the magic start waning. We sold 500 points over time and now go once or twice a year. The magic came back!!

We no longer go to Disney world, but cruise on the Disney fantasy so much that cast members recognize us all the time.

Do what makes you happy.

I'm 400 miles from Disneyland and when my wife and I got married 40 years ago our friends all thought we were Disney Addicts because we went every OTHER year. Lite weights, for sure, compared to some on these boards.

Not every trip includes park tickets, so an AP wouldn't be cost effective. DD and I did 3 nights at the Poly in August (Bounceback discount, shared the room cost, we always wanted to and figured we'd never get a better deal- and it's a once-and-done for us) without park tickets. I am here now, solo, with a 4 day PH and LOVING it ), DH and I will come in January for 1 night at CSR, 3 nights at WL, no park tickets, visiting friends/cousins in the area. As we've aged, a Disney trip has gone from us being park commandos to being all about the restaurants, lounges, and relaxing. It just struck me as funny to be planning the NEXT Disney trip before finishing THIS one (and a "first timer" trip is in the plans for May)! However... I'm looking at Europe for next summer, now that we have enough Delta flight miles piled up to cover airfare.

Me too! I mean, I know all those words, but the sequence is confusing. ;)
Hope you guys had a good trip!
I'm practicing adulting today; I actually got on the bus and came to the airport. Don't think I didn't have a brief moment of "Can i reschedule my flight and book a room for tonight" but I fought it hard... so here I sit in Terminal A.

Have a great flight home, @leebee. Start getting the plans in order for your next trip.

We were making a purchase in the OKW gift shop, DW gets out her phone to show our eligibility for the DVC discount and the CM says, "Don't bother, I remember you." Have had similar instances with servers in WDW restaurants. So yeah, I'm not the guy to ask about "Going too often.";)

We'll be at BRV at Wilderness Lodge for 7 nights in January. Maybe we'll cross paths!

OK, I think this thread was a bad influence. DD16 and I are going to be in FL this weekend. We don't fly out until really early on Monday morning, so I'm tempted to drive from St. Pete/Clearwater to the MK area for dinner on Sunday night. I have enough rewards dollars to cover something like Kona.

Sounds appropriate to me. Enjoy!

Here's the menu for you.

Is there such a thing as to much? LOL!
I wish I could go more.
I watch ResortTV1 every week, so I go to WDW through them - does that count? :scratchin:smickey:

Don't worry about it unless it doesn't give you enough excitement. If otherwise..it's never too often!!!
