Or should I be worried that our 6 month old hamster lost a top tooth last night.
It was loose, and sticking out, and this morning was gone.

She is still eating well, and does not seem bothered by it.

When we had gerbils they would lost teeth as well. But they do grow back rather quickly. Your hamster will be fine. I would go to a pet store and get some hamster chew toys though, helps keep the teeth from growing too long.

We have several chew toys. She chews constantly on them and on her cage. Thats what had me worried. I really thought we were doing what we were supposed to.

Thanks for the quick answer. I was trying to google w/ no results that were helpful.
