Do Girls Form American Girl Doll Clubs?

I'm looking at buying my dd an AG doll, but it will have to wait for her birthday. We're already maxed out for this Christmas!

I did get dd a subsription to the AG magazine and enrollment in the AG online club. I also bought her two AG books, lets see how she likes it first. I was wondering if girls ever form local clubs to meet and play with their dolls? Might be an interesting way to make new friends. Do such clubs exist? Just wondered....................

Hi I'm new here, but I had to reply. I know that there are doll clubs for the kids. Sometimes bookstores host them or local girlscouts/schools. My dd 6 is getting an AG this Christmas. We have two already. There is a great message board that I belong to that is a treasure trove of info. Let me know if you're interested and I'll post the link. Take care!

We have a scrapbooking shop that does tea parties for the American Girls. My daughter has done this a couple of times. She takes a doll with and they scrapbook pictures of their dolls into a little book, have treats and receive alittle prize. Fun, Fun, Fun! Check around!

I forgot to mention - has your daughter been checking the club to see the new girl that will be released on Dec 26? We are trying to figure out where she is from. My daughter is going nuts!!!!

Jess is rumored to be of, at least, part Asian heritage. It won't be long until we can all see the doll & know for sure!

Although it is now deleted, someone (a phantom lurker) posted the FULL Jess poster that is being shown in puzzle pieces for those in the club. someone else just yesterday posted a picture of the actual DOLL (of course also now deleted). I, however, have saved both to my computer and will be happy to share it with anyone interested, but privately.
