No, no AP discount:( if you will be there for more than 8 days or will be able to take another trip before your AP expires (they are good for 1 year)than they are worth it though.

The only discount for tickets that we get from DVC is 10% on LOS tickets. AP's can be purchased at any guest relations window at any of the parks or ahead of time on line or at the Disney stores (they will give you vouchers online and at Disney store to exchange at guest relations when you arrive). LOS can be purchased right at the front desk at check-in.

Yes, it does Scoootch! Thank you very much! I wish we could get AP discounts--that would be great, considering how often DVC members usually visit! I am wondering if a LOP pass would be better than an annual pass? How do most DVC members feel about this? Thanks again!! :D

The LOS is now call the Ultimate Park Hopper (UPH). It is only good for the length of your stay. Unless you visit Disney Quest or the water parks a lot and visit all the parks (commando style touring, in other words) it is not the most cost-effective ticket. The breakeven point for an AP is roughly 8 days, otherwise PHs or PHPs will likely be a better deal: your PH & PHP days last unitl you use them, so you don't feel bad spending a day just hanging around at one of our beautiful DVC resorts.

Lots of sites have exhaustive analysis on the subject of which tix to buy. Check out Deb's AllEarsNet.com or MouseSavers .
