Do drink kiosks accept Disney gift cards?

My DH refuses to spend any money on himself but really wants to try some of the specialty drinks/beers in the countries of the World Showcase. I was thinking of getting him a gift card just for this purpose so he wouldn't have an excuse not to treat himself. (The money is already spent on the gift card for that so...) Do the various drink stands accept the gift cards? Or cash only?

Some of the kiosks don't accept them. I know there are a couple of specialty coffee and drink kiosks that aren't operated by Disney, so they won't accept Disney gift cards or the dining plan.

Most of them do. I use gift cards for everything! I buy a lot of drinks around World Showcase and have always been able to use them. Honestly, the only place that I can think of that DOESN'T accept them, is the funnel cake stand in WS!!

If the kiosk has a credit card machine, it will usually take them. There are some kiosks that do not, so they only take cash.

In my experience, most of them do. And pretty much all of them during the Food & Wine festival do if you're going that time of year.
