Do Cheerleader teams get hotel discount?

My granddaughter is going to Disney the end of this week with a cheerleading group. Do the cheerleading groups get discounts? they will be staying at the all stars resort. Thanks

I'm guessing that your granddaughter is going to the UCA All Star Nationals. Congratulations! Our team is skipping this year, due to some scheduling problems. UCA and Disney do a package for competitors. It consist of accomodations and tickets to the parks, they are discounted... but it is still peak season so the rooms are still pretty high. They also offer family and friends of the competitor to purchase tickets through UCA. Our team allows each family to decide what travel arrangement best suit their needs. We (my family and 2 other team members families) rented points from a DVC member and stayed at the BWV. We loved it! We are in the beginning stages of planning for March 2008, now.
