I've signed up on Disneys website, ordered their DVD and have yet to get a pincode...is it for Americans only?

I got a pin code before too. I had a trip saved and came back later and deleted it. The Pin code came a few days later. I couldn't use it because it didn't work for my dates though.

I have gotten pin codes every year for the past 4 years (when I signed up). It comes in an email and typically with the free dining plan. Be patient and hope the time frame works for your family.

It's a totally unpredictable thing. I got tons of them during 2009-2010 but nothing at all in 2011 so far. I used two of them, one for a 30% discount and one for free dining. Be patient, you never know!;)

I gotten them also. Usually after saving saving a few trip options on their web site. We are going this month on a 35% pin code.

I signed up 3 years ago & didn't get anything for 2 years & then this year I got 2, but this is the first year we didn't book a trip. I almost got the feeling that you get them if you don't book anything to try & get you to book.

I've had a lot of PINs. I agree it is important to "save" your trips when pricing things out on their site. Also, if you have a spouse with a different email (or make a different email for them) sign them up also. Oddly enough, most of my PINs were to my DH's email.

Thanks everyone! Maybe it's too early to get one...we're not going until Dec '12, so still 14 months away.

I too have received pin codes for free dingin etc but just wasn't going at that time so never used them.

I just got one for room only stays. Turns out that the general Canadian discount for room onlys gives a better rate.

We are heading out in a couple of weeks with the room only code which also had a better rate than our current Canadian room only :thumbsup2 I figured this came from being registered and being a returning confused3ing guest.

I get a different pin code almost monthly, usually free dining or room discounts. They only started sending them to me after my trip last Dec. and I had signed up long before that!!!
I haven't used one yet but I always price out a trip to see if maybe I could squeeze a quicky last minute trip in!!! Always in planning mode!!!!:goodvibes

I agree; I get these things constantly. We own timeshares in the area, but I like to get the planning DVD's to see what's new and build the excitement. I am pretty sure that Disney knows we have bought plenty of tickets over the years as well. Nothing frustrates them more than a regular visitor who does not spend ALL their money on Disney property :rotfl2: They pull out all the stops trying to entice us to be 100% with the Mouse.

I would say that you are more likely to get one if you haven't gone in a while. My parents went with my wife and I about 4 years ago. They keep getting PIN's about twice a year. My wife and I who go once a year never get one.

I agree with the posts who said to save some vacation dates on Disney's web site. We got 2 pin codes this year one for a room only discount and one for free dinning which we used in May.

hello everyone, for some reason i can't register with www.disneyworld.com it keeps on saying that i don't have a vaild zip code when i say that i live in canada and city of toronto and i put in my postal code and do everything right and it still says that i don't have a vaild zip code. Has anyone come across with this problem before ??

We have gotten pins for Disneyland not disney world, still waiting!
I am hoping for one for next spring for our 10th anniv. It would be cool to go with no kids

I have gotten them for the past 3 years but never been able to use them, this year I'm going to disneyland and not a pin code to be seen, I've only got them for WDW:confused3
