Do BCV's have WIFI in the rooms?

We'll be there in a few weeks and deciding to bring the laptop. I know we had WIFI in BLT but haven't been to BCV in a few years and can't remember if they have it.

Not wifi, it's cable internet. You can bring a router if you wish to make it wifi. I didn't think BLT had wifi either.

Some have reported getting wi-fi in the BLT lobby. But the internet in the BLT rooms is wired. As you suggest, those who want wifi need to bring a router.

Non of the Disney Resorts (including the DVC resorts) at WDW have wireless internet in the rooms.

There is wi-fi in the Beach Club lobby if you are wi-fi only and don't want to bother with a router.

You are absolutely right - I forgot it was wired internet. We only used it at the table so I forgot about the cable. As long as the same is available at BCV, that's fine.

One last question (I can't believe I can't remember), I'm pretty sure it was free for members and they had to give us a password to sign on. Is that correct - or was I dreaming our last visit???

No, you just hit the log in button to connect, there is a statement that says the charge won't be billed if you are a DVC member.

Vero Beach gives you a password because they do have WIFI.

There's been a time or 2 that hitting the 'OK' button did not work, so I had to call tech support for a password, but that is not the norm...
