do bad things really come in 3's...you bet they do!

uugghh...this just happened to me a few weekends ago. and thankfully this was it for me!

1. my 8 y.o golden retriever died on a friday. she was almost 9 and didn't even get to make it to her new house ( we were building a home & i was excited for her to see it) it was cancer, and the diagnosis came 1 year ago. at least i had the year with her. she'll be buried in the backyard...

2. my horse colicks on saturday. he is a big clydesdale, and i had visions of bringing him to the same horse hospital that the kentucky derby horse was at for colick surgery...luckally some drugs & tubeing him did the trick...

3. i broke my ankle on tuesday.....walking out my moms front door!!! it was a closed ended fracture on a non weight bearing bone. after a couple of days of rest, i was up & at em....

thankfully this was it for me! when my horse colicked i was saying ok what is next...i jinxed myself bigtime!! anyone else out there have anything like this happen in 3's??

I think I have to agree. Bad things happen in threes. I had lost touch with a group of internet friends and just rehooked back up them this morning only to find one lost her 40 year old sister, another I didn't know well just lost her husband and one I was close to lost his 20 year old son. The only good news was that the one that lost her sister is finally pregnant and due in January. I feel so bad I hadn't checked in with them in so long.

The last time I had 3 big things happen at once was March 1997. I was fired 3 days after I found out I was pregnant. My grandmother was hospitalized and died- undiagnosised colon cancer and complications from surgery. Then I lost the baby. All in about 3 weeks time.
