My DH & I our planning our 5th anniversary trip & we are headed to DL. I was searching for deals on car rentals and hotels & came across aRes Travel. They have some awesome deals, but they sound to good to be true. You can buy a 4 day PH for the price of a 3 day PH. You can also buy a 5 day PH pass for the price of a 4 day PH. I called Disney & the CM told me that they only recommend getting the tickets through them, AAA, or Costco because they have contracts with those two companies. I did some searching & the aRes vouchers seem to always work for people, but the posts are a couple years old, I can't find anything recent. Has anyone had any experience with their vouchers, either good or bad? And if so how recent was it? Thanks for the help

There's other places like way.com and getawaytoday.com that sell tickets that are solid places to buy. I know Ares used to be really good, I just haven't heard much from them lately. They were solid before though.

aRes travel is good, be sure to check mousesavers for additional discounts as well.

FYI Orbitz is also offering the same deals -- 4 days for the price of 3 and 5 days for the price of 4. We got our tickets through them last February and it worked out fine.

Are these special deals something different than the regular park hoppers available from Disneyland's own site?
Would one be able to upgrade these passes to annual passes during the visit to the parks?

I have purchased from aRes, and have my e-mail ticket vouchers from them.

It appears to be same ticket voucher that one gets from Disney when purchasing them on-line and selecting the e-mail version ticket.

I have seen no bad reviews on using them, the price was right, and I got the extra day, plus paid kids price for Adult tickets.

Yes! They work great. Just used them for the 5-days for the price of 4 on our trip last week. You will need to take a voucher to the ticket window to get your tickets, but all works easily and smoothly. If you are staying at any of the Disney hotels, just present your voucher at check-in and they will give you your tickets there. (We did that at DLH this last trip, but used the ticket window on another occasion a couple of years ago--both worked fine.)

Thanks for the help everyone! I think we are going to go through them & see how they work :cool1:
