Hi all. I was wondering if any AP holders(WDW) have ever gotten any PINS? I am an AP holder, tried all the tricks, but no luck. Sign me up for the no PIN support group. :confused3

Yes, since signing up on the WDW site last August and getting a pass, I have recieved 4 PINS.

We are AP holders and got the 20/30/40 PIN that is good for most of the year. This was our first PIN ever and we have had APs in the past.

We are AP holders and also got the 20-30-40 pin. First time I've ever got a pin have always gotten AP discounts.

YIKES, all of you are so very lucky with the PINS, I have never received anything. Enjoy those PINS, my friends!!

:thumbsup2

I got an Disney destinations email last night but it only had the 40% off deal thru oct 2. Really wish I could get one for late Oct. I'm so frustrated.

all the time.........but we go twice, sometimes 3 x every yr,,,,therefore, the APs. LOL:woohoo:

Yes, and not only have we received AP general public type PINs, last fall there were a few that were addressed as an AP holder (5% more off and the PIN was out there well before the regular offers) last fall for the end of 2009 through mid June 2010.

I have had my current AP since July 2009. It is a DVC AP. I have NEVER ever in my entire life received a pin code. We first visited Disney as a family in 1990 as the guest of a cast member. Then in 2000, staying off property, then in 2005 our first stay on property at the All Star Music... then I came in 2007 with my sister and stayed at the Pop. During that trip I decided that DVC was the way to go and bought DVC in May 2007. I bought my first AP in Nov 2007 and used it for 3 trips. Then it expired. We bought another AP set in July 2009 which we will renew shortly. Never ever received a pin code. My sister went on an Adventure By Disney trip to Germany, and she got a pin code. I think that Disney knows who I am and they know they have my business so they don't think they need to lure me. What do you think I need to do?:confused3

I am thinking that maybe my DH (who is NOT on the DVC membership---its mine... all mine!!! ha ha ha ha pirate:) should create a profile on the Disney webiste, under his own email address, then mock up a vacation and save it. Maybe order a DVD planning tool under his name. What do you think? Will my plan work?

I've been an AP holder 15 years. My DH, DD, DSIL, DGS, DGD are also all AP holders. We have never gotten any pins for the general public. The only pins we've gotten over the last 2 years have been for AP holders only. (40% off twice and once for a discounted shopping weekend--loved this one.) I too have tried all sorts of ways to get a pin, but it does not happen. Gone online and held reservations or all levels, and nothing. My profile is up to date as I do that often, esp. when I renew my AP. I'm a Disney Visa cardholder, Ap holder, DVC member, TiW card holder, and go to WDW often 4-6 times a year. I have called in the past and almost always have a pin attached to my name, but I never get emails or snail mails.

We never used to get PINS either, then I finally figured out that our email address kept falling off of our reservation/account info. When I would call and ask questions or request something, they would always ask me my email address. I would tell them that I have one on file and they would tell me they didn't have one. I finally went a little higher up in the chain and they reentered my email address in some sort of magic screen and within 3 days we started receiving PINS.....one of the happiest days of our lives as we go 3-4 times a year too!

Dh and I are AP holders and Florida residents and we've never received a PIN code.

We received the monster pin but aren't using it - we want to add AP dining and it requires us to buy park tickets. From what I understand other pins are like this too, so if you usually add dining you're not missing out on much but not getting a pin - AP rates are just as good :thumbsup2

Hmmm we're DVC AP holders, I am a DVC member, we have Disney Visa, Disney Stock, they just don't think they have to work to get me there... but if I had a code, I'd definitely come more or stay longer. I never got Tables in Wonderland... DH doesn't care for having to chase reservations.
