We will be going on our saved up points, but so far all of these resorts charge a fee for shuttle services to the parks. Some of them are as high as 13$ each. I would like to know if there are any time share resorts that actually offer a FREE shuttle to the parks. (some oth the resorts I can choose from would be Sunterra, Vistana, Celebration etc)

I don't think any are free. At one time Vistana had a free shuttle but only for people who booked their stay as a hotel. Condo guests had to pay.

Even if it was free it would have a limited schedule. You really should rent a car.

find one along this route - of course this thing does not take you to WDW

this doesbut the route is complicated.

on the above check link 50. - Hilton Grand Vacation Club is close to this - so you might add that to your list.

now the buses above are not free - but they are pretty cheap.

if WDW is what you are interested in - maybe you will find a DVC owner who will trade with you - go to the DVC rental/trade site on this board.

According to a posted schedule on an owners group for Fairfield Orlando at Cypress Palms (RCI # 3995), they had FREE shuttle service in February 2003. Advance reservations were required and it was subject to filling up. Here's the schedule from that time:

Magic Kingdom (presumably TTC):

Weekdays, departs resort: 8:30am; 10:30am; 11:30am; 12:30pm; 1:30pm; 2:30pm; 3:30pm.
Weekdays, departs MK: 3:30pm; 6:30pm; 8:00pm; 9:00pm; 10:00pm.
Weekends, departs resort: 8:30am.
Weekends, departs MK: 4:30pm; 7:30pm; 8:30pm.

Sea World:

Weekdays, departs resort: 9:40am.
Weekdays, departs SW: 5:05pm.
Weekends, departs resort: 10:00am.
Weekends, departs MK: 5:45pm.

Universal Orlando (both Studios & Islands):

Weekdays, departs resort: 9:40am.
Weekdays, departs SW: 5:30pm.
Weekends, departs resort: 10:00am.
Weekends, departs MK: 6:00pm.

Limitations:
  • Shuttle has a max. of 13 passengers
  • Shuttle may not match park hours
  • Passengers 15 years and younger must be accompanied by an adult
  • No eating, drinking, or smoking in the shuttle please
  • Shuttle times are based on normal weather and traffic conditions.
  • May run 5-10 minutes late, but will not depart early.
  • Please reserve your seats at least 24 hours in advance. Space is limited. Sign up early.
  • Should you miss a shuttle or decide to leave a park at a different time, you will be responsible for arranging alternate transportation.

It also suggested Interstate tours (407-518-7535) or Royalty Tours & Transportation (407-595-9086) for alternate shuttles and asked for guests to notify them of changes to reservations by calling 407-361-0073.

Obviously, it's very limited service, especially on weekends. However, this is a timeshare resort, which has mostly weekend check-ins for weeklong guest stays. So they probably don't get a lot of requests for shuttle service on weekends. Most guests have access to a car, since most timeshares (including FF) have a higher minimum age requirement for check-in than most hotels.

It may be limited but it's FREE! :) Probably pretty useful for families who know they'll want to split up for part of their vacation too. HTH. :D
