Do any stores have Halloween items out yet?

I was wondering if anyone had noticed Halloween items out in places like WalMart or Target yet. I normally hate to see things out too early but we are going to be able to do one of the Mickey Not So Scary Halloween parties in a couple weeks and I need some Halloween items. Anyone notcied any? Thanks in advance for your help!

I haven't hit Target or Walmart recently (vacation is 2nd week in September and I'm trying to curtail my spending) but I noticed that Walgreen's has started to put fall items out including some Halloween things.

I saw Halloween stuff in the supermarket on Saturday night (candy and the Pillsbury cookies to bake). I also saw someone with Halloween decorations in their windows when walking the other day. It's August...

Halloween, believe it or not I've seen Christmas stuff out already. CRAZY!

Disney has started a Halloween shop online. I noticed that they removed all the left over Halloween stuff that was on their outlet site from last year & moved it to the regular site.

Bummer, but oh well!

Well, I haven't seen the finished product, but when I was at a Dollar Tree back in early August, they were in the process of taking down a couple of summer aisles and they had lined those same aisles with boxes of Fall/Halloween AND Christmas items , so I have feeling they were out on the shelves within that same week.... I kind of wish I hadn't been specifically "road trip" shopping, I LOVE seasonal and holiday decor, and some of the stuff looked rather cute (what I could see, anyway)

I was at the mall and I wondered into the Disney store , they have lots of costumes...more than usual. Lots of princess costumes.

I was at the mall today and Old Navy & Gymboree had costumes out.

They have all their X-Mas stuff out - including ornaments!

Party City has all their Halloween costumes and stuff out.

Costumes are out at Disney Store. They include:
Infant/toddler: Mickey, Minnie, Goofy, Donald, Daisy, Pooh, Tigger, Tink
Kids: Ariel, Giselle, Tink, Jasmine, Alice, Sleeping Beauty, Cinderella, Belle, Hannah Montana (2 styles), High School Musical cheerleader, Camp Rock, Cars, Buzz Lightyear, Red Power Ranger, Captain Hook, Peter Pan, Boney Pirate, Capt. Jack Sparrow (coming soon)
VERY lean pickings if you're looking for anything other than costumes this year...we basically only received a couple Halloween mini bean bag plush, a MMCH Halloween book...ummm, I think that's it? Some stores are receiving Nightmare Before Christmas items as well. For random Halloween items, I always like to use buycostumes.com, although their prices are probably a bit high right now. If you shop them during the summer you can find some pretty sweet deals.

Thank you everyone for all the great info. That saves me some running around to know exactley where to go. I need a simple pirate costume for my son for our DCL cruise and for the MNSSHP. We leave on the 4th barring anymore storms so I am in a bit of a hurry. Normally I HATE all the stuff out so early but this year I find it useful. But not the Christmas. That is just annoying. But thanks again for all the great info!

Our Dollar Tree was putting out Christmas items the FIRST week of AUGUST!

Yes, they also had Halloween items as well. I haven't been in a Target in the past few days but I would think they would as well. The grocery store had a Halloween display so I'm sure they do.

Walgreens has at least candy out. I try not to look too closely at the holiday stuff until closer to the time.

The Disney store has many costumes out.

Usually the craft stores have things out earlier because it takes time to make the crafts, etc.
