To do what is called at my school a senior project? in our senior project we can chose what we want but have to get it approved and have to do 60 hours of community service you can't get paid and you can't do it for your self and you have to get the person you are doing it for sign off on your hours of work. So do any of you have something like it?

I didn't have a "senior project," but I had to do 25 hours of service for National Honor Society. We also had to get people to sign off for our work.

Nope. Just 3 hours of service a month for good old NHS.

We have a senior major effort. We start working on them in October and we each pick a subject that interests us...we need to be learning how to do something or learning more on a specific subject then it gets approved by our teacher.
We work until February when we either write a paper, give a 40 minute presentation, or both.
I did my project on forecasting severe weather. I gave a presentation on tornadoes and hurricanes and wrote a paper on snowstorms.

before the end of my junior year i need to have completed 40 hours of community service, all approved before doing it, and it has to be 40 hours of one thing......i might volunteer at the NHSPCA this summer, but i dont really know where else to volunteer...

I volunteered at my library one summer (it is actually a very easy job lol) or you could see if there are any summer kids camps in your town that are looking for older chaperones

We had to do a Senior Portfolio where we pick out our best work from over the years and how it helped us meet the standards that we needed to meet. Then we put it all into a powerpoint and had to present it infront of 3 staff members, and get all dressed up to look professional. I got almost a perfect score on mine!

Juniors and seniors at my school gotta do a certain amount of service hours each marking period for religion class. Not sure what I'm gonna yet, but I have until September to decide.

And if you like animals and your town has a shelter you could see if they needed people to walk and play with the dogs.
