Do any of you do pin trading?

Do any of you have any pins that you cant buy. Like they can only be from cast members? I have a minnie with a sun one. Have any of you been to downtown disney to that pin trading store. I went there and there were these people that have been pin trading for a long time and i asked to see his pins ( he had like a huge book full) and he started to talk about this stuff and what is good to have and what he wanted to trade me. I felt so embarrased cause i had almost no clue what he was talking about! I know limited editions are good..but what else is good to have? :confused3

I have three lanyards full...so I think that's 50-75...?

I LOVE pins. I have one every year since 2000...we were SOOOO CLOSE to going to Disney World for a day this year (was at the Mariott Orlando World for a different purpose) and then we DIDN'T...so now 2005 is going to be a missing-pin year :sad2:
That stinks that u didnt go.

I love pin trading. I spent over $100 on pins. It's fun but costs a lot. And the employes have to trade with you so if you see a pin you want you trade with them.

you can count how many pins you have? I have a few, but my parents and i share pins. we each have certain pins we collect. I collect Aurora and many other princesses. About the cast member only pins, i have a story about how i got my Disney trainer pin (one only cast members who train other cast member get).
I was on the bus on the way to Epcot and really tired (cuz who ever has time to relax in Disney). My parents were complementing the but driver on her pin and were trying to cheer me up (i don't know about you but i get a little grumpy when i'm tired). when we got to Epcot the bus driver got off the bus and handed me something and said "you have a nice day" i looked at it and guess what it was, my trainer pin. they are not allowed to give that pin away they could get in trouble.

Apple Jacks, it's a regular Disney pin. a Kellogg's Disney pin for the happiest celebration on earth. they do that a lot with like Kellogg's and Kodak film. i know there have been Disney coke pins, but i've only ever traded for them.

it's Aurora's #1 fan just on my dad's name

I collect, so far i have about 15. I just started the last time i was there... :goodvibes

I have a book full of my princess, but their not for trading. I've only ever traded with my lanyard. However if you want to do serious pin trading there are trading sessions at down town Disney. i've seen people with books there.
