Do any of the time share properties have shuttle service?

Considering trading into the Orlando area via II and was wondering if any of them offer a shuttle to and from the parks.

Many do, but they are usually at only a handful of times each day---not very convenient. The obvious exception is the DVC units, if you can trade into one.

Personally, I would never consider staying in a non-Disney hotel without a car.

II trades with DVC- so you can definitely trade into DVC - if you have enough time and you aren't looking for a holiday.

now dvc has mostly studios and 1-bedroom - not many 2-bedrooms. So if you want a 2-bedroom go with other resorts.

the Marriott a very nice and do have shuttle (for a price) - the last time I was there the shuttle was $12.50 one way (might have been one day) per person. this was a while ago so it could be higher now.

cypress pointe and sheraton vistana also trade with II now. they both have a paid shuttle also. let me correct that sheraton vistana has a paid shuttle. CP says they will provide transportation for a price.

renting a car is generally cheaper.

i am staying at the marriott grande vista in April. They said they have a private contract company that does shuttle. I think they said it was about $12 per person.

We are renting a car, but on a few days, some in my party might go to Universal rather than Disney, so I was checking out the options.

If more than 2 in your group, renting a car is key to staying off site.

we stay at the fairfield resorts but as said the shuttles are very limited (like 5 a day i think) and we have never used them we always have a car and staying offsite we prefer it that way...
