Hi: Do any Canadians order from disneystore.com. If so are there coupons to cut down on the cost. Also is it expensive for them to mail articles to Canadian addresses?

I do. Usually when there are deals on though which helps with the cost. Also I ship to a package pick up in the US and drive to get my stuff when it arrives but we are only about 50 mins from the border so it's easy to do.

i order a lot from Disney store website but have it shipped to our mailbox at the us boarder at the peace bridge to save on the shipping. shipping to canada is totally not worth it, it can sometimes come out to more than you actual items.

I made the mistake of ordering online once and never again. Not only is it almost $40 for shipping, I had to pay almost another $15 for COD. I don't live close enough to the border or I would get a mailbox in the states and have items shipped there.

Deb, you don't need a mailbox in the US to have anything shipped to you there. You just need to find a company that allows Canadians to have parcels/letters shipped to there place. I have used several different places, with prices varying. I currently use Parcel Donkey in the Niagara Falls, NY area. It costs nothing for the shipping, and they only charge me $5 per unit that comes in. There is the UPS Store. However, they charge per size, and per day to hold it. They are one of the most reputable companies for receiving, but will cost you the most. Plus, almost anyone who has a mailbox in the US, pays for it. If you don't do much shipping, then it's cheaper to pay per unit.

Do I have to let them know ahead of time, or join something before I have something sent to their address?

If you want to purchase on a US Website you can have it shipped to the UPS store on Military road.

Its in the Wegmans plaza.

They charge you $5 to receive the package. And $1 per day. You put their address down. All you have to do is email them with your contact info and tell them you are having a package sent their. they will email/call and let you know when it arrives.

I usually do alot of US online shopping before we head down and have it all shipped to our Disney Resort. Nice treats waiting for us when we get there!

It is not worth paying the crazy shipping to Canada! Plus you can also get hit with Duty/Brokerage on top of it all!

we use CBI they have been really great they have a office near the peace bridge and just opened another one by the prime outlets. they charge $5.00 per pkg you have sent there

Hi again, thanks for everyones help I am bookmarking all the info, I m sure next year I will want more things for xmas gifts from the U.S.

Also I never thought about having packages sent to our resort before arriving that would be fun. I have learned alot from this thread.
