We are going to Biergarten and I noticed the kid's price is 3-9. My 2 year old will probably eat a lot, but does he not have to pay?

Just make sure when you check in at the podium and again when you see your server that you tell them he is 2. We received a few surprise bills where we were charged for our kids when they were under 3 at buffets. It is annoying to have to deal with at the end of the meal.

They grow up so fast at WDW, don't they? At 2, they're free. By 9 or 10, they're adults. Take advantage of the trip they're free......

i understand that 2 year olds are free if they eat off their parents plate at restaurants - but at a buffet can I get them their own plate and get whatever food they will eat?

Not that you asked make sure you count 2 year old on reservation even when they are free. Granted precovid we were never charged for anyone under 3 at buffets even when they had own plate. Haven't had anyone under 3 since covid
