DME Voucher questions

Hi all:

We've never used DME before, so I'm afraid I have to ask on this one:

I received my DME packet and it's really weird. The first page with the arriving flight info lists all of our names but says "no flight information provided" for the arriving flights. (I definitely entered it all when I made the ressie online)

The page with the actual vouchers has the arrival date wrong. (It's listed as the next day.)

All of the departure info is there and correct (flight numbers, dates, etc.)

Since you just check in at the counter with your voucher, is it a problem if the date is wrong? Do I really HAVE to call them to have them issue correct ones?

Also, do all the vouchers have to be attached in the book? If we end up arriving separately we'd need to remove the voucher for the member of our party arriving later. Is that a problem?
 
Yes, you can pull the various vouchers out and hand them out if some are arriving on different flights.
How did you book online? The only online area that is truly usable is the one for Member Services for DVC. Other online areas are for corporate/convention groups to use.
I would call DME directly, the number is in your booklet, and make sure they have the correct arrival date. I wouldn't worry about the flight info..it's not really neccesary, but the arrival date is.

When you book a package online, it has an area where you enter your DME information. I am wondering if this is what OP means.

I did this for my upcoming trip and have considered calling just to make sure it was entered right.

We are DVC members going on our first ever trip to WDW so I was able to book online through the DVC Members site. That's where I typed in all my flight info. So if for some reason someone didn't catch this, would they be denied boarding on the bus if their arrival date was wrong?

Quite possibly. That's why I suggested you call to make sure the info is correct in the DME system. If the info is correct in their system, then you will be fine, even with the wrong date on your vouchers. As long as the correct info is in the system, you'll be fine.

Thanks so much! I'm really glad I checked. Honestly, I almost didn't! I was just packing them in my carry on and was making sure everything was there. That would have really been awful to get there and not be allowed on the bus!
