DME...to grab our luggage or not to grab, that's the?

Ok so the day before our trip I guess I second guess everything. First time ever using DME. We are due to arrive at MCO at 1:25 PM after a direct flight. We plan to check into POFQ as soon as we get there, grab a bite to eat, then head over to MK for the evening. We are packing another outfit, sandals, and sunscreen in our carry ons. Should I just let go and let DME handle our luggage or should I consider grabbing it then boarding DME? Oh why do I always consider every option...

if you need a larger bottle of sunscreen pack it checked bag and get a small travel size for everyone to put in their carry on. it will add at least 40 minutes to your time at MCO if you grab checked bags. I would let Disney handle that for me and head straight for buses to resort so I could get to parks 40 minutes earlier. one thing I would is make sure everyone has one change of clothes in each checked bag incase one does not make it. yes the one time we had direct flight was only time one case did not make it.
