Hey y'all...quick silly question. I was just wondering generally how long it usually takes to get into the parks from the time you land at MCO. I'm just looking at airplane tickets and I'm trying to decide if its worth a little extra money to get there around 10:00 as opposed to 11:30. If we can save the money, land at 11:00, use DME, check into the resort, and still be walking into MK around 1:00 that would still give us a solid first day. Otherwise I wouldn't necessarily mind being getting in a little earlier :cool2:

If you use DME and the luggage transfer service (or have only carry-on bags), you should be at your resort 60-90 minutes after you get off of the plane. An 11 a.m arrival, therefore, would make it tough to guarantee getting to the MK by 1 p.m. Obviously if you are staying at the CR it's easier and if you are at AKL it's more difficult. You should understand that a late flight is your biggest risk to all of that.

Alright so 60-90 minutes. Thanks a bunch! I'll just go ahead for the earlier flights...any excuse for more time there!

60-90 minutes is the time to get to your RESORT. Assuming you have to check in/drop off carry ons (not even go to your room), add another 15. Depending on your resort vs. what park you want to go to, add another 30-45 minutes.

So, you'll get to the park anywhere from 1 3/4 to 2 1/2 hours after getting off the plane.
