Are these tickets transferable? Just wondering how this works?

Are these tickets transferable. Our friends family of four will not be using them and have offered us their bus ride tickets. They will drive and not need them and are staying at the Beach Club. We will be staying at the WDW Swan and Dolphin. We are going carry on, so no need to check luggage in. We don't mind the walk to our hotel, after the bus ride. Has anyone done this?

They are not transferable, per se, but you can simply take their vouchers to the counter and check in. I was not asked for ID at all. In fact, you could even take your friends luggage with you and it could be delivered via DME. Their luggage would be there when they check in, as long as they check in after the DME bus has arrived...

Have fun!

No the DME tickets are not transferable. However anyone eligible for DME can get their own tickets. It just requires reserving in advance, ten is the published minimum but shorter notice is permitted for trips booked on shorter notice.

Unpredictable things may happen, both to you and to the other folks, if you try to use someone else's DME tickets or vouchers. Among other things, the trip back to the airport may be denied to the other folks. At the welcoming area the CM's are supposed to match up the room reservations.

Well, aren't you trying to cheat the system here? I just finished responding to your other post on how to get on the buses, now I feel kind of cheated trying to help you on:confused3 . Do the right thing, you might be taking up the seats of eligible people that are waiting to get to their resorts.

Thanks so much for your concern. These seats have already been paid for thru a Disney Package. They are not stolen. I don't feel I am cheating the system...sorry you think so.

Oh ok, whatever. Sure hope you don't have kids to teach this stuff to.

The tickets are non-transferable. They are reserved as a perk for onsite WDW guests. And no, I have not done this :sad2:

Sigh... Magical Express is a benefit offered by Disney to Guests staying in Disney-owned resorts. Disney pays for it, Guests don't (negates the "paid for" argument). Guests staying at the Dolphin or Swan are not staying in Disney-owned resorts. If they were, they'd be eligible for DME and receive their own "tickets" for the bus ride. Guests staying at the Swan/Dolphin are responsible for obtaining and paying for their own transportation between the airport and the hotel.

If Disney (the service provider) didn't feel that Swan/Dolphin Guests who attempt to use DME aren't cheating, they'd provide service to those Guests.
