DME/Southwest/Luggage Tags

We are flying Southwest this trip and will need two luggage tags per person. We are about 60 days out right now. Can I call DME at this point to request that they send two tags per person with our DME booklet or do I need to wait until I get the packet and then call to request the additional luggage tags?

I guess I'm asking when is it best to request the extra luggage tags?

I would call now, the earlier the better

I would call now and request, and then if they happen to only send one for each person at the 30 day window I would call and request another set again.

It's up to you. If you wait to call right after your tags arrive, there will still be time to send more. If you call, use the number for ME directly, not the usual reservation number. (A quick search here or Google will get you the number.) We always fly SW and they often send 2 tags/person anyway since they know bags fly free. YMMV.
