DME Request Submitted, Am I supposed to get an email in return?

Hi, all.

Just submitted our DME request for our split stay. Had to do two separate ones since we're at AKL:Jambo the first two nights, then BWV the last night. I got an automated email about the same time, but no real confirmation. Is that the norm? This is our first trip with DVC points, and our trip is Dec 1-4. I just want to make sure we'll have seats on DME for when we arrive/leave. Don't care about luggage tags and such at the moment.

Yeah, that's normal.

Worst case scenario, when you get to the desk at MCO if they don't have you they'll still put you on a bus, and you can confirm return when you check in at Jambo.
 
You can expect an email confirmation in a few days. I always get the auto reply almost right away and then another more detailed confirmation. That can take up to a week if MS is busy.
 

Once submitted through DVC, you can call DME directly to verify if DVC did their job. (866) 599-0951

We generally receive a letter including instructions and luggage tags about 7-10 days before the trip.
 
December first arrival DME things arrived today for a friend.

I think we USED to get an acknowledgement of scheduling DME if we booked it on line. I stopped booking it on line, I call now, and do not think I get an email receipt.
 
Thanks all! I got the emails today, and we may just get our tags in time for the trip!
