DME question

Do I need to call Disney travel with our flight information if we plan to use Disney's Magical Express? We're all booked and even have our Magic Bands but just realized I didn't share our flight information with Disney yet.

Yes and no. If you want your luggage to be picked up by disney once you arrive, yes, you do, because you get special luggage tags. If you want to go to baggage claim and pick up your own luggage then head to DME, then no you don't have to. However, I would call anyways. I know you can still use it if you don't call and get your own luggage, I'm not sure how long you spend at the DME desk at the airport though.

Yes. Even if you are picking up your own luggage, they need your flight info to schedule your return trip.

Not true. You can't just show up at the DME counter without a reservation just because you got your luggage yourself. I believe it's actually part of the contract DME has with MCO.

I used this website to provide them with my information when we went in May:

Filled everything out and submitted it, they sent a confirmation email, and we literally had our yellow luggage tags and booklet mailed to us about 2 weeks later, which was about 3 months before our trip.
