My sister + niece arrive at MCO at 425.
We have an ADR at Paddlefish for 745.

Will there be enough time for them to travel to POR via MDE then for all of us to water taxi to dinner?

Thanks! ☺

If everything goes perfectly, you'll make it, but if there are any delays, you won't.

How long is the walk from the boat drop off, to the restaurant?

If you land, on-time, at 4:25, you should be deplaning by 4:40ish...depending on which area you land in (I've landed on a runway so far from the terminals I thought we had landed at Sanford!!). To the tram, down to level 1 and DME around 4:50ish. Wait for the bus, 1-25 mins, on the bus, waiting to leave the airport, 1-20 mins, drive to resorts, 30-45 mins. Get to room, drop off carry-on bags, freshen up (because even if you say you won't, everyone has to check out the room!!), walk to the dock area, 5-10 mins (depending on where the room is), wait for the boat, 1-20 mins, boat to DS, 25 mins, walk over to Paddlefish, 15 mins. We always recommend figuring on 90 mins, from gate to resort...so, that's going to have you arriving at POR around 6:15ish. I would add on at least an hour to get to your room, then go to the dock, and get to DS.
Sure, you could do it in less time if the stars align, but it could also take you a bit more time as well. So, I would say you can make it, but don't dilly dally!!!

Awesome. Three of us are driving up, the other two are flying in, so hopefully the carryon drop-off won't take too long.

Okay., I thought about it a little more, and I pushed back the reservation to 815.
There were definitely more time slots available today than when I booked a few days ago. There were times latest then 815 also, but I don't want to be too late. I figured an extra half hour will buy enough time that we don't feel like we have to hustle to much. Worst case if everything goes smoothly, and we are early, we can look around Disney springs - I haven't been there since 2o14 and it was just a maze of construction walls then, lol.

I would recommend making the reservation through open table and not disney. This way if something happens, and you don't make the reservation or want to change it last minute, you are not charged.

Interesting idea.
So far Disney has been great about dinner reservations, anything I couldn't make they were willing to reschedule or find a table elsewhere so I've never had a charge.

I've never heard of open table, I'll have to look into that.
