DME Luggage Tags

I received our luggage tags yesterday.

Where is the "correct" place to attach them. It's been a LONG time since we've flown, and I don't even remember these sticky-type tags.

Am I supposed to put them on the top, side, or any particular spot, in order to be clearly seen?

Loop it around the top handle of the luggage, so that the two ends stick together but the "middle" of the tag is looped around the handle but not "stuck" onto it. You'd put it in the same spot where the airport will put the big white tag, that piece of sticky paper that has the 3-letter airport code on it. Your yellow DME tag will NOT in any way interfere with them putting on the airline tag.
