DME? Late night/Check Out Please Help

I will be checking out of Pop on a Monday, but want to stay at MK until it closes at midnight. If I head back to Pop from the MK, will DME be running to the airport at that time? I have an extra early flight on Tuesday morning and don't see the need in paying an additional $115 for maybe 3 hours of sleep and was just planning to go straight to the airport. Do you think DME will be able to pick me up or should I just get a taxi from MK to MCO? Thank you SO much for any help.

DME is a 24/7 operation. I don't see any reason why you couldn't go to the airport early but you will need to call and change your pickup time. A bus might not come in to your resort if there are no reservations listed in the computer.

Leaving a park at its closing time, you will find travel time to be somewhat unpredictable given the crowds. You would need to plan at least two hours from exiting the turnstiles to being ready back at the resort for the ME bus back to the airport.

This puts your desired ME bus time after 2 AM. You will probably find it less hectic to request a 3 AM bus time. Incidentally ME guests start to come down around 3 for the flights leaving at 6.

You may need to give the bellhop advance notice of when you are leaving so he can get your luggage out of the closet in time for you. Check with the resort staff to find out how much lead time this is.

POP has asked me to be at the bell services door about 20-30 minutes before I'm to be at the DME bus area in order to get my luggage.
