dme from airport

is it possible to let your luggage go on to your resort and catch a dme bus going to a diff location? i do understand that luggage does not travel on the same bus you do but your ticket will give your resort name.

i would like to be able to meet friends at a diff resort for dinner but don't have time to go to my resort first. just wonder how this would work.

From what I understand, guests can only take DME to & from the resorts on their reservation.

Sorry, but no, that won't work. Your DME reservation is linked to your resort reservation. You will only be allowed on the bus that goes to your resort...

...however...

...Since the DME bus makes multiple stops on one route, I do not see any reason why you could not disembark at any resort on that route. You won't have any way to know for sure if YOUR resort is on the same route as the one you actually want to go to, so there is really no way to plan on it, but I don't see any reason why it wouldn't be allowed.

We did this once. ourDME bus was going to Beach Club and BW and some other resort I forget. We had dinner reservations at Cape May Cafe and got off at the Beach CLub so we would not be late. Only bad part about that was we had all our carryons with us. Our lugguge arrived at BW later. We walked to BW after dinner and checked in
