DME for a late name on reservation?

Silly question for all you experts. I'm arriving at AKL one day before my daughter arrives (she arrives late on the second day). She's only staying 3 days, while I'm staying 6.

The dilemma is this: I'm thinking of adding DxDP for only myself and we'd both use the credits for the duration (no flames - this is what a CM suggested to me). But I don't want to mess up my d's DME transportation.

If I take her off the reservation so I don't have to pay for her to have the DxDP for the entire time, and add her back on Day 1, will she still be able to get onto DME on Day 2?

No. Magical Express is for Guests named on the reservation only.

And, this isn't a flame, honestly - but simply because a reservations CM suggested something doesn't mean it's valid. Your other problem will come when the restaurants refuse to allow two credits to be be used for two separate meals when only one Guest is indicated on the Key to the World.

DUH! I actually knew that, but got so discumbobulated thinking about the stupid dining plan that I forgot! Ran the numbers again, using the plan only for me and paying OOP for d. Based on what I'd order normally (not on what the plan will let me order), there's no way I'd come out ahead with either of the plans.

So it's back to room only and no worries about messing up d's ME reservation.
