DME - Flight lands at 9:50pm

If a CM sees that the latest resort name on the yellow Magical Express tag has been written in manually, that is an immediate heads up to send the bag to the new resort named. This may occur before the bag leaves the airport or may occur after the bag gets to a different resort due to some combination of normal handling steps and glitches involving the bar code.

According to who's time though? What if your phone says your plane got to the gate at 9:59PM, but whatever clock the baggage folks are using says 10:00PM?
If your aircraft lists arrived at 9:59 according to the FAA (which is accurate to under a second to the USNO master clock) they're contractually obligated to bring you your bags. A flightaware app or similar will give you your plane's official arrival time. Accurate to the second timing is actually important to the FAA, much moreso than your wireless carrier (BTW, Verizon's entire network has a clock skew and is not accurate).

Of course, I wouldn't want someone banging on my door at 1 AM after a travel day, so I'd pick them up myself unless I had a good reason not to.

I'm not sure what this has to do with the original question.

Anyway....here's the biggest issue.. at least in my opinion. If your flight is scheduled to arrive from 9:45-10, how do you decide to tag those checked bags? If that flight is delayed, your tagged bags may very well not be tended to. They may end up in the baggage claim carousel....going round and round! Then, someone will get them in the morning and get them delivered to your resort. Hopefully.
To me, it makes more sense to leave tags off and just get them at baggage claim. Bring them to the DME bus.

Much easier than worrying whether or not your tagged bags will be picked up.

It has never taken more than 15m to get our bags after we get off the plane. we always get them and then head to the magical express. We always go to the hotel first and then head to a park. I wouldn't have my luggage delivered. I like to be in control lol. Always a fast, easy experience.
