We are staying at Pop Century at the end of August for a 4 dat trip(Sun-Wed) and was curious if the DME buses carry passengers for several hotels and if so, where does Pop fall in terms of where the bus stops first?

On a somewhat related side note, there are some great rental car deals on hotwire for the end of August(75 including tax for 4 days) and was wondering if we had carry on luggage and the rental line is not ridiculous, could we save a good chunk of time getting to the resort versus DME?

Thanks.

There is no set route or set number of resorts on a run for ME.

You may save about 15 minutes getting a rental car. Depending on which side you arrive (A side or B side) you have to hike to baggage claim, drag your bags to the lower level, and then wait for the rental car.

ME is about 70 - 90 minutes from time of deboarding; I would say if you are coming in on the opposite side of the airport as baggage claim, it would be about the same.

I would opt to get the rental car, if you feel you need to have a car while you are down there. Personally, I wouldn't do it to save a couple of minutes.

I have used DME to POP about 4 or 5 times now....with one exception, POP has been the first stop. It was the same way when my dh arrived the next day. If POP is the first stop, you should be at POP about 55-65 mins after gate arrival. If it were to be the last of three stops, it would take closer to 90 mins.
A rental car is going to take you at least 45 mins, and probably a bit longer.
Some people love having a car, others have no issues with using Disney buses and such. your choice.
