DME Booking Question

Is it only online they make you wait until 30 days to book your transfer?

It's the one thing I'm worried about forgetting, and I just want it booked and sorted. If I call them, will they be able to book it sooner than that?

I have never heard of having to wait to book ME. We always book it once we get our resort and airline sorted out. I booked this past weekend for our September trip.
 
I've never seen anything that has you wait, either. Where are you seeing that and what does it say exactly? Could be something brand new.
 
I tried to book ages ago, and got a reply saying when fully paid or 30 days out. I replied saying we had paid in full, and wanted to book, and got a snippy email back highlighting the fact that their email had said about 30 days out... I resisted responding telling them to change the email, as it should read paid in full AND 30 days out, if that was the policy.

I can't find anything about 30 days out anywhere on the WDW website, but I don't fancy another exchange. I can't fathom why they won't take the booking now...

This is the exchange I've had with them... the bolding is theirs from their second email... ***** indicate where I have removed data to share here.
 
I booked mine for return journey to airport (as only need that way) for May 28th yesterday so more than 30 days and got confirmation it was all booked today
 
Are you trying to use disneymagicalexpress.com to book? I have tried that twice in the past, and it never worked. I couldn't even get the form to submit. Just call (866) 599-0951. They'll set it up, no problem.
 
Call them. You got someone on email that is clueless. They send Mickey mail around 30 days so you have to be able to register before that.
 
Agree with PP's don't bother with the online form just call and ask to add DME to your reservation. I do this asap after I make my air reservations and have never had an issue regardless of the timing with a package or room only.

I like to have it done to be sure I get my vouchers and luggage tags in plenty of time :)
