Here is the situation. My parents have two nights with DVC at BLT, then my mom comes to stay with us at the GF while my dad goes off property for a convention. On the last day of our trip my Dad will come back and meet us at the parks before they fly out that night.

Here is my question.....
Because they are booked at BLT for only two nights does that mean that DME will not take them back to the airport after their "check out date?"

My mom is on our reservation at GF so she could take DME, no problem, it's just my Dad I'm worried about. Any advice?

Thanks!

Your Dad will not be able to take DME if he is not a registered guest checking out that day. Sorry you will have to make other arrangements.

dzorn is correct.

On the other hand, one option is to add your dad to your reservation for the last night. Even if you have to pay the extra person fee ($25?) that's cheaper than non-DME transportation.

On the other hand, if you are getting a dining plan, you'd have to pay for his meals for one night too, wiping out the DME savings.

If they add him after checkin then he would not have to be on the dining plan.

My sister often joins us a few days into our stay, my dd's and I have dining and it has never been an issue for her to have room only and no dining on her KTTW.

Another thought how is your Dad going off property for a convention? If he is getting a rental it may just be easier to turn it in at the airport than take DME.
