DME and luggage to cains?

How was this for you? We will be flying in and taking DME so wanted to know how your experience was with this. Did it take long to get your luggage? Was it delivered to the cabin or did you have to take it yourself? Would you do DMC or take a shuttle the next time? Thanks!

We used dme. When we arrived a van took us to our cabin. We then went to Downtown Disney and dinner. When we arrived back from dinner our checked bags were in our cabin. They say it can take up to 3 hours from the time your plane arrives till they bring it to your room.

It's actually 3 hours from the time you check in, not from plane arrival.

We had a morning arrival 10:30, arrived at the fort around noon but didn't see our bags till after 8:30 that evening.
