DME airlines ?

How does yor return trip work? Will the bellmen take my bags from my room and we get them back at my home airport? Or will he take them to the bus for me only? We will fly on a DME airline just a question. i see that if you fly on a non DME airline then you have to put the bags on the bus and ckeck them in at the airport. Thank you all.

You bring your bags to the resort check out airline check in area if your airline is represented there and it is 6 AM to 2 PM, otherwise you bring your bags to the ME bus. If you wish the bellhop will bring your bags down from your room to the resort lobby only (tippable) and the bellhop will store your bags for a few hours if needed (tippable) if there is no check in for your airline available.

I believe the airlines with Disney homebound resort baggage checking are now American, Continental, Delta, Jetblue, Northwest, Song, Ted, United.

All adults in the party have to be present to get the boarding passes. Just like at the terminal check-in. There was a lady in front of us in the DME check-in line at POR. She wanted to get her boarding passes printed out. She had no luggage with her either. The staff at the desk asked her if she was traveling with just carry-on luggage. She answered 'No, of course not...there are 5 of us in our group. We have about 8 pieces of luggage. I just want to save time and get the boarding passes done now.' The lady staffer just chuckled and told her that all passengers had to be there, with identification, in order to get the passes. And that she had to bring the luggage to them!! She got a little huffy and went away, muttering under her breath, about having to traipse back and forth!!!

So, call Bell Services when you are ready to go to DME desk. They will get your stuff there. Then all in your party need i.d., then they will tag your luggage, print your boarding passes, and you come back 3 hrs. before flight time to hop on the bus. Worked very nicely for us last month.
