Okay, I thought I was pretty conversant on the ways of DME. However, I have called CRO three times now to make my DME reservations. I arrive on Monday, May 15. My dh and dd arrive on Tuesday, May 16. We are at POP. You wouldn't think it would take an act of Congress to get my dh and dd on that darn bus!!! Yesterday, the CM took about 10 minutes, says he called DME directly in order to get it right. But, I just had a feeling that it wasn't. (The first CM, who I originally booked my room with told me there was no way we could arrive on two different days and use DME!). So, I called back just now to see how it was listed. Yes indeed...all three of us were arriving on Monday. I can just see my dh at 10:30 at night, being told he had no seats on the bus. So, the CM called DME again because her system wouldn't let her do this. After being on hold for 8 minutes or so, she came back and told me it was all set. That they had to work it out between DME and CRO!!! You would think there are some people that have to arrive on different dates but are staying together. When I called DME directly, they told me this was most certainly doable.
So...my question to you guys....have any of you had a similar experience? Just wondering what those luggage tags are going to say when they do get here. Don't even care since I'll have all the luggage with me. DH will have only his carryon, dd will have hers. I just want things to go smoothly at that time of night.
