DAY 3
Again we got up early and went for breakfast in the castle club lounge, after breakfast I took DD down to the character meet and greet, why she got her picture taken with Daisy and also met Dale and got his autograph.
We then headed over to the studios and our first stop was the Disney Art of Animation. We have not done this since our first visit back in September 2005.I enjoyed the pre show with the clips from the Disney films however I found the main show irritating and it is hard to hear though the headphones as the main speech was so loud. After the show DD went on some of the interactive stuff as you exit the theatre, we also spent a bit of time looking at all the artwork which we found really interesting. DD then wanted to go and see Animaque however the show had already started so instead we went to see cinemaque which DD did not really enjoy however I still like it, we have seen it a few times now and it is still good. We then went to watch animagic which we have seen loads of times, it is one of DD favourite attractions at DLRP, and she always claps along.
We then went to queue up to see Mickey, he was on a break however we decided to join the queue as we knew that a soon as Mickey came back out in a couple of minutes that we would end up waiting longer. He came out a soon as we got in the queue and we were 2nd in the queue. Me and DD got a picture taken with him and DD got his autograph. We then started walking towards the studio tram tour and we saw woody and Jessie from toy story, DD wanted Jessies autograph and we once again braved the crowds and managed to get her autograph, however we then had to find are way out of the crowds, madness, lol.
We then went on the studio back lot tour and we had to queue for about 10minutes, I must admit that I am a bit bored of this ride now, I think they should update some of the movie props to more recent films. They was also lots of prettified little children on this ride, one little girl sat next to us with her mum screamed in terror when the water came down.
After the ride we went to studio 1 and got a drink and some fries and sat down for a while.
We then watched the parade, before leaving the studios and stopping at the shop to buy our Mickey photograph, we then went back to the hotel and I took DD to the character meet which had Pluto, geppetto and eeyore present, DD got eeyores and pluto's autograph however she is frightened of geppetto and did not want his autograph, she says he is to big.
We did not go to afternoon tea today as we had dinner at walts at 5.30pm and as this is our favourite restaurant we did not want to be to full to enjoy it like yesterday. We walked around Main Street before dinner and took pictures of the new decorations which had gone up during the night.
We enjoyed dinner very much(I have posted a review) and afterwards we went to the castle club lounge where we had a drink, (pink champagne and Jack Daniels again!) we watched the rehearsals of the new parade and lighting ceremony again from the lounge window, though DD was more interested and peering down at Inventions to see what characters were there.
