DLRP Planning DVD

Hi everyone,
I have decided to tell my children that they are going to DLRP after Christmas lunch. In order to whip them into utter hysteria, I would then like to show them a DVD of the magical place. Disney used to produce a promotional/planning DVD which would be perfect but I can't find one (not even on eBay!) Does anyone know where I could get a copy - even one a couple of years old would do. Failing that I will trawl youtube.

I used to have a copy Juliette but gave it away to another DISer.
Hopefully you will locate a copy without getting stung paying silly ebay prices

I am really hoping that some kind person who is going at the beginning of December would pick up some leaflets and anything christmassy for me and post them on as I am going to do a 'guess what your last present is' sort of thing.

I think I have a copy or if not a DLRP copy on last years WDW one there was the video for DLRP (I don't think it was on 2008 version) will have a look for you

I'll try and pick up some stuff hun, but things might change from what they would be in November.

I looked at YouTube with DD a lot before we went and there as loads of great videos on there. I'm sure you'll find some Christmas ones too

Annoyed that she couldnt go as its her engagment party on one of the days My brother is not amused that im missing the party. TBH it would of been a bore for me, i don't do well in huge parties i would of ended up in the corner all night by myself with a plate full of food

But i will pick up a map and stuff for you

Oh there are some lovely Christmas Parade ones on. My two are singing the song already and they don't even know we are going! Does the parade song change every year, does anyone know?

Just to add that I have all 6 of the collection on Ebay. They are done by the seller but not personal and very professional, there is a Christmas one too. They're really lovely to keep the memory alive, but there's a lot on them, inside attraction footage etc., full shows, that perhaps might spoil the magic of the first experience.
But they are well worth the money, much better in fact than the original DLRP one. Does anyone know if there is an update to the "badly dubbed cheesy family and Donald DVD" ?

This is very similar to the promo disc I have from DLRP, just mine doesn't have Buzz on it.

Just wanted to add that I also have the set of 6 off ebay and agree with jillrobinson that they are very good, I bought them to put in the kids 'suprise' packs for their birthdays but to be honest I'm keeping them for myself

The first one in the series gives a good overview but I think if I let them watch the rest of them before we go it will spoil it for them. I think with the postage they work out at about £8 which tbh I thought wasn't a bad price when I ordered it, now I've watched it I def think it was a good price!
