I will apologise now as I have a few questions.

Me and my boyfriend and hoping for a trip to DLRP in October/November. We aren't fussy about which hotel although would like the Cheyenne if its still available. Cost is the priority though so waiting until September when we come back from WDW.

Ok so now on to the questions. I will be grateful for any answers anyone can give.

1. What can we expect from the weather in October/November? We are from the UK so used to cold weather but want to be prepared for how cold :)

2. I read somewhere on here that characters meet and greet at the Cheyenne, does this still happen? And would it happen in October/November or does it depend on the weather? Also is it ok for adults to meet the characters as we do at WDW or would people think it strange in Paris?

3. Finally (for now lol) I've read about a £30 ticket for the halloween party and a £30 ticket for something I think called 'Terrorific'. Are these separate events? If so when does each take place and how quickly do tickets sell out? Are both worth going to? Can you only enter the parks on these days if you have the extra ticket?

Again, apologies for the many questions. If anyone has any other advice I would be very grateful.

Thank you

Weather varies although similar to the UK. Have been in October and its been wet other times very warm. Went in Nov last year and it was very cold but dry.

All the hotels have meet and greets all year, its ok for adults to meet the characters but its not always organised like WDW most are free for all in Paris

One takes place in the Studios and the other is in the main park. The Studios one tends to only be the day of Halloween and possibly the weekend closest. You will be able to gain access to the parks during the days with a normal pass but for the actual event you may need the other tickets (never been so not really sure).

Hope this helps:thumbsup2

I was there on Halloween night last year, and on the 31st October it was quite good.
It was quite sunny, there wasn't much wind, so it wasn't really cold untill the sun started to go down.

The next 2 days were all rainly at times, and quite sunny at times.

The Terrofic night @ WDS, isn't that a few days before Halloween?
It's a different ticket then what you need on Halloween night.

For Halloween night, you really need this ticket, the check-ups on that was pretty strict.
We entered the park again at 5.30 pm, we got asked for our special ticket + wristband twice when entering.
And while being in the park, groups of CM's were also walking around with flash-lights, stopping everybody in their path to check on wristbands.

I didn't went to the Terrofic night, but I did enjoy the Halloween night at the regular park!
Special shows, we got to see Dreams twice, special characters (loads and loads of villains during the day/evening).

Thanks so much for the replies :)

It looks like we'll try and get tickets for halloween party :)

I did however think of another question.

I don't really understand how the meal plan works :/

If we went full board, do the vouchers PAY for our meals for the trip, or do they just get us DISCOUNT off our meals?

If they pay for our meals it sounds like a good deal

They pay for your meals but you are quite limited to where you eat and the meal plans that are offered. You can use the vouchers at face value against the normal menus but it is normally the consensus that they don't really represent great value for money in my opinion :)
