DLRP AP Question

Hi,

I have finally plucked up the courage to post after a long time being a lurker so hello to all!

I have a question regarding Annual Passes. There are four in our family, 2 adults, one 5 year old and a 3 year old. We are returning to DLRP on 11th November for a short pre-Christmas visit. We hold Fantasy APs which expire on 12th October 2005. We have received a letter from DLRP advising that, if we renew our passes within 30 days either side of the expiry date, then we can purchase Dream passes for the same price as Fantasy passes. However, we are one day outside the date and am waiting for DLRP to confirm if they will honour this for the sake of one day or not. However, I have seen a posting somewhere on the site where someone bought Dream passes and, because of the quantity bought (six I think) got them for the same price as the Fantasy passes ie EUR119 instead of EUR159 which is exactly what we would have to pay.

Can anyone tell me what discount we would get on buying 4 dream passes as a family and also 4 Fantasy passes? Our 3 year old was only 2 last year when we bought the passes and so he will be a new pass as opposed to our renewals. There is another family going along with us in the exactly the same situation.

The family discount is 20% if you're buying four Dream passes and 15 % if you're buying four Fantasy passes.

I (at least my wife) has found the leaflet that came with the letter last week, and this seems to detail all of the discounts for buying multiple passes. Unfortunately it is in French (like all Annual Pass info except the letter we got!!). Prices are:

Fantasy Pass
Normal cost EUR119
10% reduction if purchasing 3
15% reduction if purfchasing 4
20% reduction if purchasing 5
25% reduction if purchasing 6

Dream Pass
Normal cost EUR149
15% reduction if purchasing 3
20% reduction if purchasing 4
25% reduction if purchasing 5
30% reduction if purchasing 6

At a rough estimate, if we buy 4 dream passes we get 20% off so would reduce the cost to EUR127 each whilst our letter offered us these for EUR119 if we renew our Fantasy passesd within 30 days of them expiring.

Hope that clears this up for others - I should have looked for the leaflet first!

Someone else told me that Disney is offering an extra six months on a Fantasy pass if it is renewed within 30 days of expiry. Has anyone else heard this?
