DLR to Venice Beach?

Our daughter and SIL are going to DLR for their honeymoon trip. They're staying at GCV and the one 'side trip' they'd like to do is to go skateboarding at Venice Beach. Without paying a huge sum for a taxi, is there a safe, economical way to get from Anaheim to Venice Beach? Perhaps a city bus?

No public transit buses that would get there in a reasonable amount of time. It's possible they could catch a shuttle to LAX and take a taxi to Venice Beach from there. Venice Beach isn't too far from LAX.

If they'd like to visit parts of LA then the best plan would be staying a few days in an LA area hotel.

There are, although the Venice Beach skate park is supposed to be the "mecca" of skate parks, so to speak. Near Anaheim there is one at the Outlets at Orange.
