DLR to Hotel ?'s

We are going to be at the Residence Inn Anaheim Maingate on S. Clementine. Everything I have read says it is a 10min walk down Harbor. We're trying to decide if we're going to drive and park, or just walk. How far of a walk is it from the park entrance to the parking structure? (We will not be able to take the tram due to 2 wheelchairs in the party.) How is it to get out of the parking structure after MHP, or fireworks/WOC/PTN? How early do we have to get to the parking structure or park entrance to get through security to get to the front gate? (We have a 9:10am reservation our first day there and park opens at 9am)

It's just over a half a mile walk to the Harbor entrance, the walk from M&F is just as far if not further. The walk from the Toy Story lot is about 1 mile.

It will be so much easier to walk - driving and parking then getting to the parks can easily be up to half an hour. It's about 1/2 mile to the main entrance and more like 3/4 mile to the turnstiles in to the park.

The walk back will feel like 5 miles but that is the case wherever you stay!

I've never taken the tram. We stay on-sites or right across the street.
Why wouldn't you be able to use it with two in wheelchairs?

I thought the trams were to get people to and from the parking areas.
If you drive, is the walking distance really any shorter?
The tram must have some type of accommodations for wheelchairs and scooters don't they?
